Randy Fulkerson, Founder
Randy served as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1979 to 1988 with the Military Police, as a SWAT Team Leader and as a Scout/Sniper. He rose to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant, E-7. In 1992 Randy received his AA Degree in Criminal Justice from Lane Community College in Eugene, OR. From 2006 to 2014 Randy served with the Oregon Army National Guard: HHC 2-162 Infantry. He experienced multiple deployments during OIF from 2007-2010 as a forward Observer and COLT Team Leader. During his deployments, Randy survived five IED explosions, receiving numerous wounds and injuries which have required dozens of surgeries, and which included his diagnosis of Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD. Randy received an Honorable Discharge and Permanent Disability Retirement from the Army National Guard in 2014 with a rank of Sergeant, E-5. He has a degree in Ministry Leadership with a concentration in Christian Counseling from New Hope College. Randy has led several groups using the Combat Healing Manual and he is currently leading a Reboot Combat Recovery class. Randy is the Director of Dogs of Valor, a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization that trains and certifies service dogs. He and his wife Lori have been married for 28 years.
